Well, It is November in Vermont. But you would not know it looking outside. We have had one of the warmest Novembers on record. That being said the Salmon are returning from there spawning run a bit later then normal. Fishing is great in the Converse Bay area and should get even better as the water cools. Currently we are seeing surface temps in the high 40s.

Trolling small to medium size spoons in Smelt and Alwife patterns are working well. Fish have been from Thompsons to Split Rock down 35-70 feet. Trolling 2.2-2.8 GPS has been the speed of choice. There is a lot of boat traffic in this area now due to the great fishing. fishing will improve as the colder temps arrive and pressure will decreasse. Good luck.
