Cowlitz River, Washington - Freshwater Fishing Report

With all the rain and high water on the Chehalis, Satsop, and Wynoochee I had a chance to make it down to the Cowlitz for some early winter Steelhead action. The water conditions and weather were absolutly perfect! I managed to scratch out a couple winter run and a few summer run each day. Look for things to only get better from here. Im back on the satsop this week as it drops back into shape chasing those big late Silvers. Fish the softer shallow water when the water has low vis.
