This has been a good month for both the charter business and offshore fishing. The charter boat "Happy Day Today" fished almost the entire month of February so far.

Thank you to all the repeat fishing customers that have come back for the second, third, and fourth time on the charter boat. We hope to continue to fish hard and try our best to produce fish for each and every charter. Repeat fishing customers is what really has kept many charter boats in business and including our 46' Hatteras as always we love to fish and be out of Ft. Lauderdale fishing every chance we have. This is the career we have chosen and yes it is a good way to spend your days, out fishing off South Florida targeting and catching a wide variety of species, Sailfish, Swordfish, Mahi, Wahoo, Mackerel, and Amberjack.

If you are interested in locating a fishing boat, never fished out of our South Florida waters, give a call as we are more than happy to discuss the charter, what is included, the pricing and even more importantly, why to fish on the charter boat "Happy Day Today".

We would never talk negative about another boat and we believe that in hard work, good ethics and fishing/producing fish, that will speak for it self. The charter boat was established in 1980. We started fishing these Ft. Lauderdale waters back when fishing was red hot and even dead slow. Even today, there is no guarantee, we have super days where we are coming back to the dock with a boat load of fish, other time, the fishing is slow and dont have much to show for the day of charter fishing. Bottom line is that there is maybe one other boat out of Ft. Lauderdale that has the tenure, seniority and seasoned experience like the crew aboard the "Happy Day Today" check out the photos from 1983 to 1995 and see how long back the history of this charter boat goes back. We have a goal every fishing trip, to first make the customers satisfied, secondly to fish out butts off. At the end of the day, charter included are proud to hang the most fish on the fish rack. Additionally respect and cooperation, a quality very few other competiting boat possess. Treat people as you woud like to be treated and we hope and the repeat customer can testify that we treat every charter with respect. When it comes to finding fish, that is what the captain is looking for at all times. Indications of what hold and or attract fish are the tides, current, structure, bait, rip currents, color changes, and depth of water. Always be keeping an eye out for birds and any other conditions that may change. Considering all these factors and taking weather changes in prospect, this is what seperates the good from the great.

We encourage any and all questions/ charter inquiries and or booking requests.

Looking forward to our repeat customers coming back and new customers.
