Well we have been on a typical winter time pattern. The trout bite has been very inconsistent from day to day. One day we catch them good, and then the next day we can't seem to buy a bite. One day they are in a certain area, the next day they are somewhere else. I'm use to grinding it out during the winter, but this winter has made me work hard. We have had some good days on the water lately catching some nice fish. Maybe all the rain over the past two weeks has pushed some of those trout that have been up river down to our bays. I have been using soft plastics bouncing it the bottom and live shrimp under a cork for my best results. Spring is just around the corner and it produces such a variety of fish and great numbers. Until next time, see you on the water.
