we caught a lot of cobia this week , near shore next the manta , we caught theme with jig, and live bait, the big cob run with the school of poggies,is thebest time of the year for cobia ,and this year they are in big school to, jump in the boat and go catch theme , i use trevala rod and 5000 s35tella with 30 lbs braid and 30 pound leader circle hook 5 , or jig, be carefull when you put one in the boat , they are very bad ........ you can keep one over 33 inch ... capt fred 407 948 50
