The weather has made it difficult for most anglers to find a spot out of the wind. We did havea couple of good days where you could get out in a boat. The anglers fishing from the catwalks of the South Bridge have been getting a good number of sandperch, snapper, black drum and a few croakers mixed in. The local snook anglers have been working hard to find a snook in the slot. I only had one reported and it was 31 inches. It was caught on a pinfish at the tide change in the Ft. Pierce Inlet.
The offshore fishing has been mostly off due to all the winds. We did hav a couple of boats that got out and had several nice dolphin to 21 pounds. They were caught in 150 to 300 feet of water on a naked ballyhoo. One boat had 2 sailfish releases. They were caught to the north of the Ft. Pierce Inlet in 120 feet of water.
If you would like to report a catch you can e-mail me at cward11605@aol.com or call me at 772-201-5770. You can also reach me on the web at www.captjoewad.com

Joes first snook wasn't that big, about 10 pounds, but after a 5 minute fight his father helped him flip the snook up onto the bridge and that is when Capt. Joe knew he was hooked on snook fishing.
