This fishing trip goes into the books as one of the all time bests. The Gills were a blast and all species of fish that we target were caught. We even did a little ICE FISHING! That is, the guys really needed some glacier ice for their martini's and such so we accomodated them by starting the trip in the "Ice Box" and "catching" multiple chucks of glacier ice. We also got a great deal of Sable Fish and a couple of Silvers.
During the two days of fishing we caught limiits of Halibut, Ling-Cod and we slayed the Salmon. We fished near glaciers, out in the open waters, off rocky coasts and right up into glacier fed streams.
The accomodations at the Port Ashton Lodge could not be beat. The cabins were very nice, the food was excellent and the Salt Water Hot Tub was very relaxing.
