Lake Ray Roberts Bass Fishing Has Been Good

2009-05-13 14:24:54
Lake Ray Roberts, Texas - Freshwater Fishing Report
East arm

Ray Bob is 1.25 feet high. The water clarity is not so good in many places on the lake. West arm, Buck, and IDB are all muddy. The rest of the East arm is in pretty good shape. Fishing has been pretty good most of the week. Couple slow days with the weather. Soft plastics are working best. Still catching a few on the trap and shallow crank. They are working best with the wind though. Watermelon/red flukes, salty sluggers, and baby brush hogs have been the best for us. Bobby from Illinois got his personal best. Weighed 7lb 9oz.

Mike got a good one on a bbh.

They are still letting water out. The lake is starting to come down a bit.

Thanks

Dannie
