Fishing a 2 boat Charter yesterday, I knew there would be plenty of boats on Mosquito Lagoon so I decided to hit areas where us guides can get away from the boat traffic. I had 2 anglers from Atlanta Georgia looking for their first Mosquito Lagoon redfish and they got what they wanted!!

First stop was on a flat I've had tailing fish for the past 2 weeks and today was no different. We ended up on groups of 4-5 fish with tails up and boated 3 tailers. A 23, 25, and a 30" reds were picked off using tail hooked jumbo shrimp. The fish were picky though as we must have seen well over 100 reds throughout the day. Good job guys sight fishing with heart pounding action!! I was able to get within 10 yards of em' with the wind keeping them from hearing us approach. Next stop was a surprise. Fishing for reds, first cast with a live mullet within 10 seconds of it hitting the water the battle was on! When the fish was pulled next to the boat it was a 6 pound flounder. We ended our day with these fish, 3 or 4 more smaller reds, around a dozen trout, and a few kitty's.

I have days open in December but they will fill with the holidays coming so book now!
