Matagorda, Texas - Saltwater Fishing Report
East Matagorda
Even if there is not a full moon, you can still catch fish on Topwaters. We fished the Half moon and caught some really nice trout up to 27 inches. Had a total of 13 trout and 3 Reds. Average size of the trout were 22 inches and the reds 25 inches. Does not seem to matter what color the topwaters are. Good luck to everyone out there and be safe out on the water.
