Today's charter was with a couple fine bass fisherman from Tennesee, looking for their first battle with a Mosquito Lagoon redfish.

Off we were to where the black drum have been at daybreak, although we have'nt seen them all week with the windy conditions, but they were there today with the calm breeze. Only briefly, as we worked one school before they vanished for the morning. We did boat two going between 6 and 8 pounds. Nice start!

Throughout the rest of the trip with the full moon upon us we moved to redfish grounds and caught 5 all in the slot along with a few jacks.

Check out this live release of a VERY healthy, lively as can be, released to live another day, redfish. This is truely a unique fish that deserves to swim again!!
