It's your typical windy day in South Florida during the winter months. We start out at sunrise with a cool 54 degrees air temperture.Checking water temperature along with water color, we decided to start the day five miles north of the south bridge.Working live shrimp along the jagged shore line hoping for a hungry snook of snapper to make an appearence!

The first fish of the day turned out to be a healthy sized Sheepshead. All fish for this day were catch & release being the customers did not want to pack a cooler for the trip home.

As the day progressed we caught an assortment of sheepshead, mangrove snapper and a handsmome amount of spanish mackeral. No snook for the day. At days end all totaled a talley of twenty six fish caught in all!

The main set-up used for the day was 30-50lb flurocarbon leaders with two-three ounce in egg sinkers.A #2 mustad was enough to bring the fish to the boat. This is my report from St. Lucie Sportfishing Charters.Until next time, safety first, catch & release is always appreciated! Thanks!
