The Monster Bass are in Stick Marsh and Farm 13. These lakes are the best opportunity for any angler to catch a ten pound plus bass. After Thanksgiving and BEFORE Christmas is the time frame in which most days with catches of multiple ten pound bass occur.
Right now the bass are suspended in the submerged trees of Stick Marsh. Drifting over the trees with live bait will produce the bites of a lifetime. Usually, this time of year is a bunch of bites and a bunch of bass. However, right now, the fishing is for a limited number of bites (small number for these lakes) about 15 to 20 in a day of which most will be huge bass.
The angler who prefers to use artificial lures will find working Spinnerbaits through the trees to be rewarding. Chatter Clatter type baits will also produce.
