With the recent rains and high winds it is making it tough to fish the southern portion of the lagoon. Try fishing the north end in protected waters. There are plenty of bait pods and more than enough fish. Find open creek mouths and free-line mullet or try surface lures at first light for big trout. As the day goes on sight fish for redfish along banks using either cut mullet or live shrimp.
