The Mosquito Lagoon has been on fire the past few weeks. With the coming of fall(or at least Florida Fall) brings awesome days on the water. I love living two minutes from the Mosquito Lagoon because it allows me to be on the water so much. The fishing has pretty much been on a steady path the past few months. As long as these days remain constant we should have plenty of the same thing. If you are out there and find a good thing...Stick with it. It goes back to the saying..."If it's not broke, then don't fix it."

With this said, fish shorelines and banks for nice catches of redfish. Use live or cut mullet and sight fish these fish early. As always approach them with stealth. Among these fish are large trout. Trout are hitting top water early. As the day goes on I like to switch to soft plastics and work the flats as the sun rises high in the sky to allow for a great sight fishing experience. The key is to get an early start as always with fishing.

Call today to book a world class light tackle fishing trip with us. See you on the water.
