Fished Sun. 8/12 and thur. 8/16 on the south shore.. near belle river and ruscom river.. Customers have been enjoying some of the best muskie fishing Lake St. Clair has had to offer..Numbers and big fish.. We have been averaging 9 to 15 fish on a trip and have been boating some really beautiful fish.. Sun. we had a 50 1/2 inch 30 pounder and then Thur. I had the lakeside fishing shop employees out and they boated a 50 inch 31 pounder.. Both personal bests for both people.. I have been doing good on a number of different style baits, but olive frog, walleye, black perch and red bar ocean perch colors have been smokin hot.. There has been some real hogs caught over the last couple weeks 38 to 40 pounders that have been kept remember replicas make for great mounts too and everyone can enjoy this great fishery for years to come.. Let them go to let them grow.. Thanks and Good Luck Captain Craig Miller ( www.heatwavecharters.com)
