Happy Thanksgiving , anglers and boaters will have full stomachs and holiday cheer, November is coming to a close but end signifies beginning. Christmas is near and hopefully everyone will have giving in there hearts. The weather has been seasonably refreshing causing many to get out and enjoy the weather while boating.

Snook anglers the bite is on and expect big fish to continue pushing back in the back country. Top water plugs, DOA Shrimp and C.A.L. and live baits entice strikes for anglers. Dock, seawalls and flats are holding schooling fish and fly anglers should be all over it, these fish are chewing. Moving water and clean water are critical for a good bite and an abundance of snook. The average size has ranged from 2 to 10 pounds.

Tarpon prevalent in the back country and residential canals, live baits and artificial lures like a DOA bait buster or DOA C.A.L. Jerk bait will get the job done. Channel edges and mangrove shorelines great areas to locate the tarpon. The tarpon are in schools and at times can be seen rolling on the surface. The typical size of the tarpon range from 5 to 30 pounds.

Large mouth bass are in the grass flats striking DOA Swim baits morning and evening hours. Work pot holes and clear water for best results. Peacock bass fishing will stay consistent depending on the weather, cool weather slows the bite at times but sunny days can trigger a great bite as well. Fly and DOA lures best bets for peacocks.

Well that is the fishing report for the past week, hope you all enjoyed. Remember you cant catch them from the couch so get out there and get hooked up. Tight Lines! Capt. Craig Korczynski, PhlatsInshoreFishing.com 561-644-4371
