Saltwater fishing off Alabama Gulf Coast

We started the year with a redfish fishing charter off the beaches of Orange beach and Gulf Shores Alabama. We departed the dock at 9:30am and began fishing within 20 minutes. We spent the next 2 hours with two hits and no hookup. I moved around and kept trying different areas with no luck. The storms and high seas over the last few days had moved the bait and the fish. However, today was beautiful and we just needed to find the fish. Finally, the big bull redfish appeared. After extending our 4 hour trip to a 5 hour trip, we ended with several hookups, released a few and took home enough for dinner. A great day with my good friend Eddie and his family.

We are excited about 2007 and are booking fishing charters. The Red Snapper World Championship Tournament in Orange Beach Alabama begins April 21st and runs throught May 21st. We have a deep sea fishing trip for grouper, triggerfish, vermillion snapper, scamp and possibly amberjack planned for next week. We also have a redfsih trip planned. I will be updating soon.
