Good morning folks. We started at San Pablo only to find Red Tide all over the shallow and 20 miles above. Clam Bay started our day with 45 yellowtail that seemed to just stop biting. A lot of junk mixed in that really didn't make it that good. The quest continued all the way up to Cedros were we anchored up and had an evening bite on decent size yellows until dark. Another 35 yellows there to finish the day.

This morning we are offshore and the story continues with this scene. Decent water with no sign of fish. Hoping for a kelp to finish off with.

We are only giving it the morning and heading home before lunch. We will be in tomorrow at 8:00 in the morning.

Good morning folks. Yesterday went about the same at the Rocks. Another 22 wahoo and 44 tuna. The evening brought more sharks that messed up our evening bite and the morning the conditions were poor for tuna. The afternoon we had our best shot on tuna, but once again the current made a dramatic turn and that shut off. The wahoo fishing was on the Anchor that started first thing in the morning an lasted until about 9:30. The ever changing current shut that down and another move found us the tuna.

Another big yellowtail caught on the Iron sealed the biggest jig caught yellow and biggest tuna caught by Jimmy Baxter looks to be around 120 pounds.

We managed a little over 50 wahoo and a little over 100 tuna for three days of scratching at the rocks. Not quite what we had in mind but none the less some nice fish to be had. Things were just off the bite this week. We are headed inside in search of yellowtail we will report again tomorrow.

With the thought of leaving the rocks and heading up to Guadalupe we were stopped in our tracks by Wahoo and tuna up on the North end. We trolled up 21 wahoo, some nice big ones and scratched on the tuna until dark. The sharks got on us late and screwed us up. We finished off with 53 tuna and 21 wahoo 12 yellows. With the sign we saw yesterday we had to give it another day and so far the wahoo have bit a little with 21 wahoo so far this morning and 5 tuna. Some smaller grade yellows were caught last night to keep the guys busy but no great big yellowtail like the night before. That one was really nice.

as far as tomorrow goes we will see what time we leave here today. Guadalupe is getting out of our reach as far as timing goes so maybe some yellows on the beach. That decision will come later.

Good morning folks. Yesterday was quite a disappointment with grief from sharks and non biting tuna. For a while it seemed like we were getting bites just not landing the fish. The question was soon answered with half eaten fish and success on bringing in the sharks. We made several moves throughout the day asking ourselves. This can't be it. Well it was with only 5 tuna and 11 wahoo moral was down. Hopefully patience pays off and we get some pay back today. The fish are here they just need to get in the right mode. If we can just scratch we will be happy. Visions of loading up have declined. But you never know. That's the beauty of it. We will report again tomorrow

Good morning folks. Today we will be traveling and rigging up for the nest three days at Alijos Rocks. Our annual 7 day is finally here. With good reports from the last boat down and a good weather outlook we are ready to go. A nice load of sardine and mackerel at the bait receivers and a freezer full of squid and flyers puts us in good order for tuna and wahoo. we will arrive in the morning at 830 tomorrow.
