Ran a full-day trip for the opener with a regular client of mine and his buddy. The day started off really good and we ended up with 2 mid 30" fish in the boat. between the lost/missed fish and follows we had action from over 12 fish in 3 hours. tails, cranks, gliders and suckers were all doing damage today..We fished mainly in 4-10 FOW and most of our action came from 8 FOW.
The wind started pounding around noon so we switched lakes and boated a 44" in the first 15 minutes..Also lost another 40" class fish on a swimbait..
I spent today scouting a bunch of different lakes, but it was pretty slow all around..
