On March 7th I spent a day on the water with my good friend and customer Alan Julier.Our main goal was to get the fly rod tight with action and we succeeded at that.
Windblown Largemouth by

Fishing on March 3 for LM Bass for the 1st time this year we had moderate success. We landed 8 Bass up to 6 lbs and only 1 Chain Pickerel. Still George had a good time and we shall try again when the wind is a little more managable.
Pre Cold Front fishing by

On 2/26/08 in advance of a cold front I guided George Vogel of Woburn Mass to a day of 12 different species of fish. We began at 07:30 in Sebastian casting DOA shrimp and Plugs with some success with trout and Reds.We then went out into the Ocean and caught Bluefish and Pompano on jigs before finishing up fishing the Mangroves for Snook.

The Sebastian Lady went on her first night trip Saturday 8/25 at 8:00pm and returned Sunday morning at 8:00 am.
Fair Numbers Of Bluefish and Spanish Macks by

Despite blowing winds and dirty water, anglers are finding fair numbers of bluefish and Spanish mackerel along beaches from Patrick AFB south to Sebastian Inlet. Most of the bluefish are hitting cut and live finger mullet while the mackerel are taking small spoons, jigs and plugs like the Gotcha lures.

The fishing the past few weeks has been hit or miss. Recent rains have muddied the waters around Sebastian and water levels remain normal to a bit on the high side. Early morning water temps are running in the low 80s. More bait is showing up and there seems to be bait everywhere at the moment.
