Lake Ray Roberts, Texas - Freshwater Fishing Report
Brush piles and timber

As always the month of September has always been an excellant month for crappie fishing at Ray Roberts. This year looks to be the same as we are already loading the boat with good numbers of crappie. The jig bite is starting to get good again, blk/char tubes and wht/char Rocky Top Jigs have been producing good the last few days. The minnnow bite has been producing fish each day. Timber in 20 to 25 ft of water and brush piles from 12 to 30 ft have been the top areas to fish.
