Cedar Lake, Ontario - Freshwater Fishing Report

The weather started out cold May 19/07. The highs for the day about 33 degrees. It did not slow down the fishing however. Many walleye between 15 & 22 inches with the largest todate this week was 29" today May 23/07. Northern are very active as well...largest this week 39". As well Muskie have been hitting jigs & minnows as well as small Northern tackle. 17 already this week with 5 over 40 inches and the largest 47". Great care was taken to release carefully(as we always do)...this is still pre season. Official Muskie opener is June 16/07. Cedar Lake is truly proving itself as a class A (54" MINIMUM LENGTH. WE'D LIKE TO THANK ALL OUR GUESTS FOR TAKING SUCH GREAT CARE OF OUR FISHERY).
