With dropping water levels, our local steelhead fishing continues. The fish are concentrated to much smaller areas now and are definitely more spooky. Smaller presentrations and stealth are of greater importance to realize success. We have been finding biters on each trip, but with greater difficulty. The bonus is, we are catching and releasing greater numbers of salmon on each trip, as current regulations dictate.
