Details:This is the new Shimano Baitrunner that features a graphite frame and sideplate. Has a one piece bail to eliminate previous model bail issues. There are 4 sizes available.

They're awesome from the surf. Big handles knobs are really comfortable. The nod goes to the smaller 6000 model though because the larger one is a tad more tiring when casting from the surf for extended periods. They've stood up well in the rocky areas I fish. Better than the Penn Liveliners whose rotors crack if they're dropped on rocks :( Happy fishing all :) Rating: Saw This At Icast - Looks Awesome!Reviewed on July 22, 2009 by Jay from Jacksonville This is the new baitrunner and I must say I am liking it. I am sure the price is going to be higher than the original baitrunner, but maybe cheaper than the spheros and just as good? Finally the old clunky look is gone. I will be getting the 8000 model for my offshore gear and selling my old baitrunners on ebay :) I believe there is a new stradic coming out? Add your own review |
