Today's charter was a "two" boater with myself and another fine fishing guide, to Mosquito Lagoon with 2 clients on each boat. Joining us were four fine anglers from Arizona and Wisconsin. Oh yea...... -35 degrees in Wisconsin today was like a summer day on the Lagoon for us!!
As we spoke about the Northern Pike fishing in Canada, I surely wanted them to do some comparison with redfish. There response was just as I imagined....."boy they fight well"!!! "They don't seem to give up NEARLY as easily as the Northerns do"!
We hit an area thet has been holding some fine catches of good size reds for a couple weeks now and today was no different. At one point sitting within 20 yards from each other, we had a triple hook up with all three oversize. This was the beginning....
Good job guys as we boated over 12 reds between the four of us with most over the upper slot limit of 27".
It's a tough problem to have when your boating reds all over size trying to get one in the slot!!!!! Awesome pictures of these fine gamesters with photos to last a lifetime!! (coming on my next report)
