Southerly winds the past few days has brought the water levels back up on Mosquito Lagoon scattering out the reds but still we are finding plenty of fish. Target shallow water for tailing reds when the water is high. The shallower, the better.

The fish have moved out of last weeks areas with the low water, but looking for water in the 10-12 inch range will put you on tailers. I don't expect the water will remain high as the forecast is for the wind to turn north which will drop the water down schooling up the fish.

Black drum are still on our flats but have been a little picky and spooky. Your best bet is a big shrimp tossed outside of the schools.

Flounder gigging is about average right now but will pick up soon searching in water from 1-3 feet with sand bottoms.
