Just got back from deer hunting in Virginia and fished Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The fishing has seemed to slow a little for numbers but not size. Each day we boated 8-11 fish with friday having near 24 lbs best 5 and 22 lbs on Sunday. Saturday was the only day we didn't have a fish over 6 lbs. The best action seems to be fishing shallow grass with traps in 1-4 ft. The numbers don't seem to be shallow but we have caught 3 over 6 lbs and 2 over 5 lbs doing this. This winter shows no signs of slowing. I am offering special 6 hour winter trips and have Christmas gift certificates available.
