6 anglers exhausted themselves catching squid 22-23 miles SSW out of Pillar Point Harbor. I stopped several times to try different areas just to make sure squid were in a variety of areas and depths. We had to lay the jig on the bottom to get them going at first. They did come up a couple times. With crab season just around the corner, find a windless day and go get them to use for crab bait or table fare.
BTW, yesterday's Point & Click forecast 19 knots in the 20 to 25 mile area. The actual for today was less than 5 kts. Take the forecast with a grain of salt, use different sites and what ever you do, be safe out there!
