Ran out a little South of the Half Moon Bay Weather Buoy. Tried to put the gear in a ittle shallower, high 800's, low 900's. Never moved to boat, they came up with a vengenace. We got them to 20 feet under the boat a few times. Told the anglers to pull the gear when we had about 160 Humboldt squid. Bonar was full, both fish boxes were full and the entire side of the boat was still covered in squid. Fortunatley, we had two deckhands to clean. A few large blue sharks showed up for snacktime at the bait locker. We stopped on the way in to give the deckhands time to clean and watched a tremendous show of Humpbacks doing full breaches multiple times, as well as lots of pectoral fin slapping. Ran the pots for half limits of crab.
