Clients of Sun Coast Kayak Sport Fishing are still enjoying the great night fishing for Snook here in the Sarasota area. Last nights charter saw some pretty impressive numbers of Snook as well as a few Sea Trout while concentrating on dock lights along the ICW in southern Sarasota Bay. All of the anglers were first time kayak anglers and the ease of tageting Snook for catch and release under the lights made for an enjoyable and fun filled evening.
The highlight of the night came as Brandon of Boston, MA who caught and released his first Snook which measured 37" and topped out just over 20#. All in all the average Snook was between 24" and 26".
