left the port at 7am with a livewell full of croakers, spots, pinfish and pigfish.ran east looking for something to troll on but did not see any weeds or rips untill we got to 160ft. scattered weeds but no flyers so we kept going to the first stop.i see a few marks on the screen so i tell them to drop. as soon as they hit bottom 2 rods are bent and the drags are sreeming. after the 10 min battles we have 2 30lbs AJs in the box.next drop 2 hookups and we get 1 28lb grey grouper but the other fish pulls off. we try again and get 1 more big jack and the guys now want to troll for mahi. well we trolled the weeds for about a hour with no bites and cleaning baits evey couple mins so we go back to the bottom fishing. we tried a few more spots with good marks but no bites. then i find a real good mark and its AJs, almacos. with our limit of jacks we look for some more grouper and end up getting 2 more 15-20lbs models.back at the dock and find out our big grouper would have been 2nd in the FSFA tourny oh well.great clients and great weather what else can you ask for...
