Good catches of 20-30 # Reds have been in the inlet with some taken on live crabs but most on DOA Crabs or Zara Spooks such as this one caught by George Vogel 0n 8/13/2009.Also some decent Tarpon have been caught in the Lagoon like this 85# fish caught by Alan Julier on a Mirro lure.In addition some Bull Sharks and Black Tips have been caught in the Lagoon.Bonita and Kings are on the beach in good numbers. Many Snook in the 20- 30" range have been caught along the Mangroves on DOA Shrimp. Remember this is catch and release fishing until September.
