A Fishing we have gone!!! 3-19-2012
Shoo Wee the Biloxi, Ms. charter boat WhipaSnapa has been in high demand. Running all them trips now! From inshore light tackle, inshore/offshore combos to bluewater and sightseeing. That 29ft openfish with restroom an shade, plenty storage an live wells out the ying yang sure makes for a good day on the water..
People from Minn, NY, GA, WI, CA, and Ms, an so on. Have pulled in a many good fish this week from ground mullet, white trout, flounder and still a few sheeps, blackdrum, sharks, red drum, amberjack, mangrove snapper, grouper, spanish mackerel, blues, an so on..
Always look forward to spring break an get the younger crews and large variety of great guest aboard that darn WhipaSnapa. For some great water adventures. Some really great fishing this week. Couple of the trips the quantity was down but pulled off quality. And from the smiles I seen this week it was some good times for sure. An prob as much fun for me as anyone.. The bait shops have had a lil trouble getting live shrimp but the poggeys have shown an of course always plenty fresh dead, which once the croaker an hardheads show, live shrimp can be wasted. But the fresh dead will produce good numbers an them live poggeys will get'em for ya.
The water temp has reached the low 70*'s which starts a lot of transactions and spawning of sorts. Ground mullet and white trout have shown up and a few good specks being caught too. Nice red drum and sharks out by the Islands. But as of this report no cobia : ( But maybe by next report! So stay tuned are better yet:)
Getcha self on down here, load up on the ol' WhipaSnapa an let's get it on!!!
Many thanks to all and God Bless!!!!
