Fishing report for the week ending 3/27/2011

This whole month has been just what the doctor ordered, great weather, great fishing and lots of spring visitors.

Were hitting on all cylinders, trout, redfish, mackerel, pompano, sharks and several close tarpon sightings has made it necesarry to keep bigger tackle onboard.

Bait is all over the beaches and the bay with the exception of mangrove snapper we are moving into what will be a very early summer pattern.Live shinners have been my go to but I am still seeing shrimp and artificials working fine.

My first tarpon trip is April 19th but keep looking for the word that THERE HERE its going to be any day now.
