This past week, we scouted the Skyway Bridge for Grouper. Being colder than normal, we weren't sure if they would bite. Well, we were partially right. They were biting, but just mouthing the baits---so in order to detect a fish on, you had to raise your rodtip occasionally.

In the flats area, the water was warm enough for us to catch many Seatrout to 18 inches, a couple of rat Redfish, 1 lone Spanish Mackerel and a bunch of Mangrove Snapper.

Tight Lines!
