The dolphin fishing in Fort Lauderdale this week is heating up. Schools of dolphin are being found fishing the weedlines approximately 4-6 miles offshore. Dolphin, tuna and wahoo are all biting. Today on the Mary B III All Day Dolphin Trip, we went offshore to start and found a nice weedline to troll along. We caught a few dolphin here and there including 2 schools with 5 or 6 fish in the school. Also, trolling a few deep planer baits, we caught 4 wahoos fishing the same area. When the action tapered off, we came in on the reef catching a bunch of bonitos and a couple small tunas. Ultimately, we ended up doing some deep dropping in 300ft of water and caught 20+ tilefish to end the trip. The fishing action is really good in Ft Lauderdale this month. Let's go fishing!

Fish Species: Dolphin, wahoo, tuna
Bait Used: bonito strips, lures and ballyhoo
Tackle Used: 20-50 pound test gear
Method Used: trolling and deep dropping
