2014 SPRO Frog only Tournament
With the Guntersville lake showing signs of spring fishing the 2014 year starts to take shape. Tournament schedules are popping up all over and none was more successful in 2013 than the SPRO frog only Tournament. Back again on Lake Guntersville on September 6, 2014 the SPRO frog only Tournament promises to be bigger and better than ever before with bigger payouts and record numbers of participants!
Last year's tournament proved to be extremely successful with nearly 250 boats participating, tons of give-away products from cooperating sponsors like Duckett rods, T&H Marine, and more. The 2014 schedule of sponsors appears to be even bigger and better adding some new participation and sponsors with the likes of Navionics Charts, Legend Boats, Fredrick's Marine, Scottsboro Tackle and more.
With and anticipated payout for 2014 of $20,000, increasing to 400 boats or 800 participants, and more give-away money than ever, this year will prove to be the trend setting tournament for the year. With such a large expected turn-out, and the need to increase its draw some great changes are being made. This year 2014 every participant will get a chance to pick the flight they want, so early registration is very important. If you like being in the first flight or the last one you will get your wish by signing up now and picking your preference. Flight preferences will be dated and assigned based on first come first served and filled in accordingly. All last minute entries will be put in the non assigned middle of the pack.
Guaranteed $20,000 pay out with 400 boats will set the tournament apart from anything Lake Guntersville has ever seen. The anticipated size has allowed us to move the tournament to Guntersville State Park ramp, with all last minute registration and meeting occurring in the Guntersville Middle School for easy access, the night before in Guntersville. It's time; think SPRO, think SPRO Tournament and get your registration in early and pick your flight!
