The "Fall" Spinner Bait Bite
With out a doubt the most fun you can have in the "fall" time of year is fishing a spinner-bait. In September and October there is and has been no better bite for me than fishing Punisher's Flame Spinner bait in watermelon color. The bass are on the move and they just rip it out of your hand.
The baitfish will lead you to the fish and the spinner-bait does the rest. All you need to do to have a good time on the lake is look for the schooling baitfish being chased by bass and I promise Punisher's Spinner-bait will do the rest.Guntersville this year is as thick in baitfish as I have ever seen, I've been fishing this lake for many years and this fall will be one of the best we have seen.
The points and grassy edges are where you should target, the fish will be holding on the breaks from 4 to 9 feet of water. Work your self around the creeks and back-water areas of the lake, find areas that have defined drops around the edges; back off into about 10 feet of water and you should be rewarded. A little wind maybe some clouds and some time on the water and you will be well pleased. You can purchase these Punisher's Spinner-baits at Waterfront Tackle or Keller's Tackle, both have a wide variety.
The bass should hit the spinner-bait on the drop so when your fishing it use a stop and drop method, use your wrist to work the bait and you should have a great time.If you love to fish a Spinner-Bait and need some help getting better at it or gaining confidence in it, then please call and book a day with me. No one will teach you more about spinner bait fishing than I will. My approach is unique as many have told me and my results are great!
