Early mornings still prove to yeild the best action with ladyfish, jacks, and even bluefish tearing through bait pods. These fish have been in deeper areas of the Indian River Lagoon and are very easy to catch. If you want to test out your fly fishing skills, these fish are the perfect way to do it! They will school up and eat just about anything. You will be able to see them from a pretty long distance ripping across the surface of the water.

Tarpon and bull redfish are cruising bars in 3-5 feet of water. The tarpon are rolling so sight fishing for them on calm mornings is the way to go. Most fish are going between 40-60 pounds, perfect for light tackle! I like to get out at least an hour before daylight to start searching for the silver kings. Reds are also in the same areas, and I mean some pretty large one's. We had one yesterday that went 43 inches with 3 others between the 35-40 inch mark.

Book now for August, I still have some days open and September is also a great month to go after these trophy gamesters!
