Offshore fishing this past weekend on Sunday was not bad. The trolling bite was slow, the full moon and east wind for four days hurt us on Sunday, but we managed some nice Mahi trolling. But the bottom fishing was awesome for us with a limit of big pink snappers and sea bass, rock bass, and grunts helping fill the fish box.
Monday we had a great crowd that was ready to go offshore. Only problem was the girls had no desire to leave site of land, and with two of the ladies pregnant, guess who won that contest. So we got to troll for about an hour before the ladies were bored and we headed in to anchor behind Masonboro for the rest of the day to swim and have some fun in the sun. We did manage to catch some spanish and blue fish before heading in.
We are heading to Morehead City next week to get ready for the Big Rock and need a few people for a Make-Up trip on Friday, June 11th. Call me and lets go fishing. 910-338-0039, or tim@fishingdays.com
