Fished Messalonskee lake and Great Pond June 5th 6th, 7th and 10th. Smallmouths were on rocky shorelines and rock shoals. Clients boated 93 bass up to three pounds and two pike. Also trolled one evening for brown trout and boated two fish in the 16 to 17 inch range. Water temperatures are just right to enjoy this two tier fishery. If you want to fish this area don't delay, temps will be increasing in the next few weeks and we will be into the summertime mode having to fish deep water again.
