Bass fishing is very good on Lake Okeechobee, the cold weather has passed and the water has warmed up nicely. We are catching bass that are full of roe, waiting for a time and place to spawn. The next few full moons will see major spawning action by Okeechobee's Bass. Live bait (wild shiners) or artificial baits are both working well at this time. The North end of Lake Okeechobee has been the more productive area of the lake. Big Bass and numbers of Bass are coming from the north shore area.
