I'm Art Ferguson of Art of Fishing Guide Service and am 17 year veteran to guiding on Florida waters. With this last moon, some bass moved up on beds and a few big ones in the 8-12 lb. range but many of the bass have finished spawning and with the warmer weather were just showing signs of schooling this week. We caught several in the 3-7 lb range in scattered hydrilla on Lake Toho on Carolina rigs, lipless crankbaits and spinnerbaits. Fish also coming out of Kissimmee grass with swim jigs and traps. Bass also with the high winds were bunching up at canal inlets, grass cuts and creek mouths. Fishing shallow crankbaits and vibraiting baits in these areas will get the agressive fish biting.
