On recent charters on the St. Johns River the prerigged Black/ blue tail touchdown worm has been the ticket to catching bass in the grass as well as the 3.25 Highroller topwater bait fished over the eelgrass with a slow technique for both baits . Summertime bass are not very aggressive so slowing your baits down is a key to being a day that you catch fish or not .
The touchdown worm has also been catching bass when worked slowly along the river channel edges .
For more info. on fishing or charters you can call or email at the listings on my website .
Good luck and I'll see you on the water
