With todays weather report I expected to wake up to the trees bent over, wind against the tide and a miserable day! Turned out they were wrong, for the better! Beautifull day on the water. Just caught the change of tide for a one, one pick, sometimes two on at a time. Bite slowed to just about nothing once the current ran. Made several drops, a few had some fish, bass and blues and some drops had nothing. Some of the fish caught early looked like they had been eating all night! Bellies looked like they were going to pop! Seeing more males the past couple of days...long and lean. Pool fish just made 16 pounds. Capt.Frank has the boat out for the first afternoon trip of the season, good outgoing tide, not much traffic, hopeing for a good report from him soon....Monday is looking like a blowout right now, will update tomorrow.......Capt.ron
