Finally the Blood Bath we have been waiting for! One stop drop! Started out with a one two pick which turned into the best slaughter of the season. Had 5 to 10 fish on at a time ranging between 8 to 12 lbs. Our mates really had the hustle on all night. There were a few highlights of the trip and the first was massive pods of bunker with large blue fin tuna shredding them up. Prowler regular Cliff Stahl managed to hook one up and spool his reel in seconds. One fare landed nice 21lb Striped Bass and another land a 9 1/4 lb fluke. The pool winner was John Chiang from South River NJ with a 14 lb bluefish. Great job John!

With the red hot bluefish bite and seeing all the blue fin tuna smashing the bunker all night this was definitely one of the most exciting magic hour tips in my book. Sailing 330-930pm every night except Monday.
