The last two weeks we have really had to pick our fishing days offshore with the high winds and rough seas. Most of our trips have been inshore for this reason. We are thankful for calmer seas this week! I can't wait to get back offshore and chase down these sailfish! Sailfish have been around the ledge. A lot of bait has been blown in. Last week we had two releases on Sailfish. With this front approaching more sailfish should be coming through. Dolphin and kingfish have been out there as well. They are a nice bonus when we are targeting sails with the kite.
Bottom fishing has been hot! All the snapper species have been biting. There are also some jumbo porgies, triggerfish, amberjacks, cobia, and kings to catch while bottom fishing. Live finger mullet dropped down to the bottom is a for sure thing on some nice mutton and grouper. There have been a few gags from 65-80 feet.
The inshore action has been fun! In the inlet there are a ton of Jacks and Bluefish. There are a few tarpon moving through the inlet as well. We had a hook up on a ladyfish last week. There are a couple pompano towards Hobe Sound in the Intracoastal. While targeting these pompano, ladyfish have been nailing our jigs giving us a show. The weather is improving and the fishing is good! Offshore or inshore we can get you hooked up on a good time. Call me at 561-214-2271 to reserve you're date, we have a few open dates in December.
