Fishing Report 3/18/07 Lake Guntersville

It's the time of year that you just have great times on the water week after week. The bass were hot all week, the big fish have moved up for the spawn and the bass fishing couldn't be any better. We had a 23 .5 lb day best of 5 on Friday.

We averaged 15 to 20 fish a day or more, missing that many or more on every trip. Some days the bite was early then the cold high pressure set in and the bite moved back to the later part of the day.

We caught fish this week on a variety of baits, soft plastics, Tight-Line Jigs green and blue with a blue craw trailer, Punishers Flame Spinner bait in watermelon color and a red blade, and some still hitting a trap.

With this upcoming week being spring break I still have some open dates and would love to help you spring break folks have a great day on Lake Guntersville.
