Line sides fishing is fair to good depending on the day. One day you'll catch 7-10 in a half a day and then the day you'll do good to catch 3. Clear Creek south has been producing best right now for me. The bait is still in the river channel and is thick. Down lining small baits at 24-35 feet seems to be working best. You can catch a big fish free lining big baits early in the morning. And the main points around the dam has been best for big fish. You want get a lot of bites but most will come from big fish. Trollers should be pulling Mack Farr umbrella rigs in the river channels during mid day. In the morning try pulling your rigs in water less then 20 feet deep and this includes shallow humps out in open water. Top Water is very slow right now. But keep a Jr. spook ready. Book now for Feb. and March on Lake Allatoona and mention Ken Sturdivant and get $25.00 off a full day trip... . And remember kids always fish free with paying adults.
